Rare Disease Day

Rare Disease Day is an annual event held on the last day of February to raise awareness about rare diseases and their impact on patients' lives.

The day aims to bring attention to the challenges faced by people with rare diseases, advocate for better healthcare, and promote research to find treatments and cures. It was first launched in 2008 by EURORDIS (European Organisation for Rare Diseases) and is now recognized globally, with various events and campaigns held in over 100 countries.
